By submitting your application and/or CV electronically to the company under the name "NOBACCO SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIETE ANONYME VAPING PRODUCTS" (hereinafter "NOBACCO"), you provide us with certain Personal Data (as defined in Article 4 of Regulation 2016/679 and specified below). The electronic submission is made via the website www.nobacco.gr (the "Website") maintained by NOBACCO or by sending an email to the address indicated either in the respective job posting on the Website or in the "Career Opportunities" section. This notice describes how NOBACCO processes your related Personal Data, in accordance with the terms and conditions of applicable legislation (including, but not limited to, Regulation 2016/679 and Law 4624/2019).
Data Controller, Data Processor, Country of Data Transfer/Storage:
The Personal Data you provide us with is processed by NOBACCO, acting as the data controller. We may share your Personal Data with third parties (Data Processors), where and when reasonably necessary for the proper functioning of the Website and/or for the evaluation of your application by a third-party service provider or when required by applicable law or as part of an investigation conducted by a competent regulatory or other authority. Your Personal Data is stored on servers located within Greece and/or the European Union and is not transferred to third countries outside the European Union.
What Personal Data We Collect During Your Application Submission and for What Purpose:
When submitting your application and/or CV, we collect the following data:
- Full name, contact details (email, phone number).
- Other information and details contained in your CV (e.g., education details, work experience, etc.).
Additionally, depending on the job position you are applying for, we may invite you to participate in additional assessments or skill evaluation activities (e.g., psychometric tests).
Candidate Selection Process:
Candidates are selected for interviews through a manual selection process rather than automated means, considering NOBACCO’s needs in relation to each candidate’s experience and skills for the respective job position.
Further Personal Data We Collect:
If you are hired by NOBACCO, we will collect additional Personal Data necessary for executing our contractual relationship (employment relationship). A separate notice will be provided upon your hiring.
Legal Basis and Purpose for Processing Your Personal Data:
We process your Personal Data in accordance with applicable law, as follows: (a) When you apply for a specific job position posted on the Website, we process your Personal Data to evaluate your application before entering into an employment contract with NOBACCO. (b) When no specific job position is posted but you submit your CV for consideration for future job openings at NOBACCO that may match your qualifications.
If you are unable to provide the requested information, we will not be able to assess your suitability for the position you applied for or for similar positions that may arise, nor will we be able to contact you during the evaluation/hiring process. If we require additional Personal Data from you, we will inform you whether such data is required for contract execution or as a result of a legal obligation and what the consequences of failing to provide such data would be.
Retention Period for Your Personal Data:
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate your application. If: (a) your application is unsuccessful (you are not selected for an interview or not hired), or (b) you submit your CV for future job openings at NOBACCO that may match your qualifications, NOBACCO will retain your Personal Data for a period of one (1) year from the completion of the recruitment process for the position you applied for (scenario (a) above) or from the date you submitted your CV (scenario (b) above), in order to contact you for potential job opportunities.
If your application is successful and you are hired by NOBACCO, we will retain your Personal Data for the necessary period based on processing purposes and in accordance with the Employee Personal Data Retention Policy of NOBACCO.
Your Rights Regarding the Personal Data We Collect:
- Right of Access: You have the right to access any data held about you by NOBACCO within one month from your request, as specified in Article 15 of Regulation 2016/679.
- Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data, as specified in Article 16 of Regulation 2016/679.
- Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your Personal Data in certain cases, as specified in Article 17 of Regulation 2016/679.
